Cookies & website storage
Last updated: September 17, 2026
This notice explains the browser storage and related technology used when you visit the RM Windows & Doors website.
What this website uses
The RM website does not install advertising pixels, third-party analytics, social tracking widgets or optional analytics cookies. Fonts and architectural images are served with the website. Social media links open the external service only when you choose to follow them.
The enquiry form keeps your unsent details in the current page. The RM application does not save a draft in browser local storage. Refreshing or leaving the page can lose unsent information. A successfully submitted enquiry is stored separately as described in the privacy policy.
Hosting, access and security
The hosting platform may use cookies or similar technology needed to manage access, authentication, traffic or security. For example, a restricted version of the site may require a sign-in session. These functions are separate from optional advertising or analytics. Blocking necessary storage can affect access or the ability to submit a form.
Admin sign-in cookie
The admin area uses an essential session cookie named __Host-rm_admin to keep authorised staff signed in for up to eight hours. It is sent over HTTPS, cannot be read by page scripts, and is removed when you sign out. It is not used for advertising or visitor tracking.
Cloudflare form protection
When enabled, our quote and newsletter forms load Cloudflare Turnstile to help distinguish real visitors from automated abuse. Cloudflare processes browser and network signals for this check. Verification is required to submit a protected form. If it cannot load, you may contact us directly. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Embedded Google Maps
The service-area map loads from Google as you approach it on a page. Google may use cookies or similar technology and process connection details when the map loads or you interact with it. Your browser settings and Google account settings may affect this behaviour. See Google’s cookie information and our map privacy details.
Your choices
You can inspect, remove or block cookies through your browser settings. Settings usually distinguish first-party and third-party cookies. Clearing cookies may sign you out of a restricted website.
There is no optional tracking category to enable on the current RM website, so there is no advertising-cookie consent banner. If optional tracking is added, this notice and the relevant choices should be updated before it operates.
External services
Instagram, Facebook, your email application and other services linked from the site have their own privacy and cookie practices. Those services apply their own settings when you use them.
